About us and our services
We are a not for profit group which investigates and researches alleged paranormal and supernatural events. We are based in Orleans County of New York State. The CPIA was established in the winter of 2001. We use scientific methods to record and evaluate these phenomena. We investigate residential and public cases as well as government and municipal cases. The CPIA is a New York State representative for the WWPRC (World Wide Paranormal Reporting Center), a New York State Representative for AAOPR (American Association for Paranormal Research), as well as members of the TAPS Family of paranormal researchers. All of our investigations are done free of charge. Donations are accepted, but never required. These donations are used to help with travel costs, lodging, batteries, equipment maintenance, etc.
We primarily service Orleans, Genesee, Monroe, Niagara ,Erie and the near by counties, but please contact us and we may be able to help you by long distance travel or by arranging another organization to take your case.
